Services

Immigration and Consular services
The Zimbabwean Association of New Zealand worked tirelessly over the past two years to bring passport and other related services to New Zealand with effect from March 2005. This followed several consultations with the former ambassador, Mrs. Florence Chitauro. As a result, Zimbabweans in New Zealand no longer need to travel to Canberra for passport renewals or other consular services

Funeral Assistance
The primary purpose is to provide members with both financial and moral support in times of bereavement. The objective is to ensure members and their beneficiaries get a decent burial either in New Zealand or back home in Zimbabwe.

The Business Forum
The business forum started as a result of member’s concerns on what the future holds when retirement comes. The theme of the project was then called “Planning to be rich.  Mudyandigere”
